1. Who we are

Killer Idea is operated by Adventure Group LLC ("we", "us"), acting as the data controller for personal data processed through the Killer Idea website and service ("the Service"). You can contact us at support@killeridea.app.

2. Personal data we collect

Account data: email address, authentication identifiers, and login metadata.
Content you submit: startup ideas, prompts, uploaded evidence, and generated reports.
Usage and device data: IP address, browser/device identifiers, pages viewed, and event logs.
Support communications: messages you send us and our replies.
Order data: limited billing metadata returned by our payment provider (e.g. subscription status, purchase identifiers). Card details are handled by Stripe and never reach our servers.

3. Why we use it and legal bases

To create your account and provide the Service (performance of contract).
To secure the Service, prevent fraud, and debug issues (legitimate interests).
To send transactional emails about your account or purchases (performance of contract).
To improve the Service and develop new features (legitimate interests).
To comply with legal obligations (legal obligation).
To send optional marketing emails, where you have opted in (consent).

4. Who we share data with

Stripe — processes payments, handles tax, invoicing, subscription management, and refund requests, and receives the personal data necessary to do so.
Hosting, database, authentication, and analytics subprocessors that run the Service.
AI model providers used to generate reports from the content you submit.
Professional advisers (legal, accounting) where strictly necessary.
Authorities, when required by law.

5. International transfers

Some recipients are located outside the UK/EEA. Where that is the case, transfers are protected by an adequacy decision or by appropriate safeguards such as the Standard Contractual Clauses.

6. Retention

We keep account and content data for as long as your account is active and for a reasonable period afterwards to comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements. Billing records are retained for the period required by tax law. We delete or anonymise personal data when it is no longer needed.

7. Your rights

Depending on your jurisdiction you have the right to access, correct, delete, restrict, or object to processing of your personal data, to data portability, and to withdraw consent. You may also lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority. To exercise any of these rights, email support@killeridea.app. We will respond within one month.

8. Security

We apply appropriate technical and organisational measures — including encryption in transit, access controls, and least-privilege service credentials — to protect personal data. No system is perfectly secure; please use a strong, unique password.

9. Cookies

We use strictly necessary cookies and local storage to keep you signed in and to operate the Service. We may use limited analytics to understand aggregate usage. You can control cookies in your browser settings.

10. Changes

We may update this notice from time to time. Material changes will be highlighted on this page with a new "last updated" date.
